BREAKING: 2 People Transported To Hospital After Stabbing in Clarksburg

UPDATE (6/29/17 at 1:57 a.m.): 

On Wednesday evening, Clarksburg police responded to a stabbing incident in the area of Washington Avenue and South 5th Street in Clarksburg. 

According to a press release from the Clarksburg Police Department, two adult males received stab wounds and were taken to United Hospital Center.

Ian M. Knight was taken into custody and charged with two counts of malicious assault for his involvement in the stabbing.

Police responded to a stabbing in Harrison County on Wednesday evening around 9:30 p.m. 

According to Clarksburg police, the incident occurred on Washington Avenue in Clarksburg.

911 dispatchers said two people were transported to United Hospital Center.

There's no word on their names or the extent of their injuries.

The Clarksburg Police Department is investigating.
