It's the season for giving and the North Central West Virginia Home Builders Association is doing just that.
Thursday, Dec. 10, the association filled cart after cart with toys for its annual Christmas shopping spree at the Clarksburg Walmart. Each year the membership buys toys and bicycles to distribute to children in eight counties.
15 years ago, Thomas Board, who is also known as "Santa Claus" started the event.
"We want to give back to the communities and the people in where we work and where we live. This is one way we can do that by helping under privileged children," said Board.
This year the Home Builders Association donated more than $10,000 toward the gifts.
