Governor Tomblin Presents 'My State, My Life' Campaign at Robert C Byrd High School
Governor Earl Ray Tomblin was in Clarksburg on Thursday to introduce a new campaign for high school students.
He presented the My State, My Life campaign at Robert C Byrd High School.
It aims to get students to continue education past high school and create a more skilled workforce, where they stay to work in West Virginia.
“My goal has been to assure that every graduating senior is ready to go into the workforce with vocational training or something they can make a living with or has the necessary classes they need to be successful in a two year associate degree program or onto college. The possibilities for jobs in West Virginia are something most of us have never experienced,” explained Governor Tomblin.
