A local man has found unwanted guests in his Weston home.
After buying the home on Center Avenue, John Goodwin found a honeybee hive in the walls.
Workers are moving the hive to a new location.
Honeybees are the state insect and are protected.
Crews said hives of this size aren't often seen in the wild.
"This is probably one of the bigger ones I've found. This is probably 60 to 80,000 bees in the house," said beekeeper Bill Bullion.
Bullion said he'll move the hive to another location after removing it from the house.
