Pierpont's Lifelong Learning Program held its annual open house today to show off the classes it offers.
The non-credit continued education program is for residents age 50 or older.
Participants pay $60 per semester and can enroll in as many classes as they'd like, from pottery-making and painting, astronomy, and even a course on global issues.
"This year, we're doing wine-tasting and finding out what wines go with which food. We have watercolor and needle-felting, which I don't know about, but I'm anxious to find out," said Peggy Edwards, from Pierpont Lifelong Learners.
Classes run from September to November.
