Three people are behind bars after authorities issued a high risk drug search warrant Tuesday night at an apartment building in Clarksburg.

The Harrison County Street Crimes and Drug Unit (SCAD), assisted by the Harrison County Sheriff's Department SWAT Team and the Salem Police Department's K-9 Unit, executed the search warrant at the building on Broaddus Avenue.

According to authorities, after receiving numerous complaints that drugs were being sold from the building, the SCAD Unit began conducting surveillance on the location and it was able to make an undercover controlled purchase.

Authorities said they seized 28.3 grams of raw heroin with a street value of $14,000, one pound of marijuana, 81 Hydrocodone pain pills, weighing scales, packaging materials and about $13,731. 

Maurice L. Garrison, 32, of Clarksburg, has been charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, conspiracy to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, conspiracy to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute Hydrocodone and conspiracy to distribute Hydrocodone.

Andrew J. Carter, 27, of Tampa, Fla., was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, conspiracy to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Margaret E. Proctor, 31, of Clarksburg, was charged with delivery of Oxycodone, possession with intent to distribute Hydrocodone and conspiracy to distribute Hydrocodone.

All three suspects are in the North Central Regional Jail and are waiting arraignment.

Clarksburg, W.Va. - Two people were arrested Tuesday after authorities executed a drug raid at a home in Harrison County.

Harrison County Sheriff's Department Street Crimes and Drug Unit (SCAD) and the Harrison County SWAT Team issued a search warrant at a home on Broaddus Avenue in Clarksburg.

Sheriff Albert Marano said one male and one female were arrested and are facing charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

The incident remains under investigation.
