Two men from Greenbrier County, West Virginia, have pleaded guilty in federal court to drug charges.

U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin said Roger Lee Deem, 60, of Ronceverte, and David Eldon Williams, 54, of Lewisburg pleaded guilty to using a telephone to commit a drug felony.

The men told the court they'd made arrangements for the transaction by phone in April, then traveled to Princeton, West Virginia, where they obtained 375 30 milligram pills from a confidential informant after which they were taken into custody.

Deem and Williams face up to four years in prison and a $250,000 fine at sentencing, set for Dec. 16.

The investigation was conducted by the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force with assistance from the Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force Assistant U.S. Attorney John File.
