The CrossFit gym on Greenbag Road in Morgantown celebrated it's grand re-opening on Saturday.
The gym first opened two years ago, but owners wanted to recognize the athletes who've been training with the gym for many years.
"We've had athletes who have been with us since the beginning and we just wanted to appreciate them. This entire day is for them. CrossFit is a very community aspect fitness routine. So basically what we wanted to do is appreciate our members and bring our community together in one big show," said Jeff Giosi, owner and coach.
CrossFit has always been known as a fun and unique way to exercise, so organizers decided there was no better way to celebrate than to work out in costumes.
Former West Virginia University football player, Owen Schmitt, emceed the event and enjoyed watching everyone run around in different costumes.
"Oh it's hilarious. We get to see these people all week just regular gym clothes you know the gym rat clothes thing. It just makes it a little more fun," said Schmitt.
Costumes ranged anywhere from superheroes to Irish kilts. More than 100 people including kids came out to take part in competitions, games, and exercises.
