It's just a little more than a week from the opening of Division II football camps.
A year ago Glenville State battled in close games. Losing four of its five by one touchdown or less.
The Pioneers featured many young players, including a freshman starting quarterback.
"You look at us last year where we were playing three or four freshman on offense and defense, and they did have their growing pains," said head coach David Hutchinson. "But the good thing about freshman is they become sophomores and they have more experience, and we look for the experience of the whole team."
The 12Sports Zone caught up with coach Hutchinson in the 12Sports Coach's Minute. Hutch talks about his team's off-season preparations and plans for 2014.
