A Rock Cave man has been sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison for a sexual abuse charge.

Margel Tenney, 58, was charged with sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian, or a person in a position of trust in March 2013.

State Police in Upshur County filed a charge against Tenney after obtaining a statement from a juvenile victim that on or near November, 2011, Tenney had intercourse with her which resulted in her pregnancy, according to a criminal complaint.  The victim said Tenney arranged her marriage after the baby was born.

Tenney will be on supervised release for 20 years following his prison sentence and will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, said Upshur County Prosecuting Attorney Jake Reger.
