Stonewall Resort hosted its 11th Annual Golf Tournament for the Make-A-Wish Foundation on Monday.
Each year, the resort tries to raise enough funds to grant wishes for children suffering from life-threatening medicalconditionss.
Each wish costs $3,900 on average. One wish child is Brandon, a 17-year old suffering from a life threatening brain tumor.
Brandon and his family just got back from Lego Land.
“So a wish is kind of an escape for them, a chance for them not to think about the bad things that are happening, but to dream big, and if they can do anything, be anyone or to go anywhere what they would want to go, and we make that come true,” Leandra Hickman, Make-A-Wish Foundation.
84 teams signed up for this year’s golf outing.
