State Police Investigating 2 Vehicle Crash on Route 50

Four people were taken to United Hospital Center Saturday night after their SUV collided with a tractor trailer in Harrison County.

This happened at the intersection of Route 50 and Route 98 just before 10 p.m.

West Virginia State Police said the tractor trailer was turning onto Wilsonburg Road when it collided with the SUV.

Troopers said the tractor trailer driver was not hurt.

State Police are still investigating as to whose right-of-way it was.

They have not released the names or conditions of the people injured at this time.

Multiple injuries were reported after a SUV collided with a tractor trailer on Saturday.

It happened at the intersection of Route 50 and Route 98 in Harrison County just before 10 p.m., according to Harrison County 911.

State Police haven't released information on injuries and how many people were involved, but 911 officials said two Harrison County EMS ambulances went to United Hospital Center. The tractor trailer driver was not hurt. 

State Police are investigating. Fire departments from Reynoldsville and Stonewood also responded to the scene.
