People heard some Bluegrass and Gospel Music Saturday in Tucker County.
This was the 11th year for Pickin in Parsons. Twenty groups took to the stage this year performing many different selections in bluegrass and gospel music.
“We’ve been coming here for nine years and we feel really privileged and very thankful to the Bowers Family for making it possible for wonderful Bluegrass to be this close to our area. It makes it very convenient for a lot of us in this area that can travel real far to Kentucky and listen to bluegrass so we’re very thankful to them,” said Joyce Mccord of Fairmont.
“I’ve been here everyday this week and it’s a great festival. They put on a good festival here. It's nice and clean. They have a great line up nationally know groups,” said Jack Hedrick, of Canaan Valley.
