Posted: Updated:
Officials from the Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) from both Marion and Monongalia Counties will be distributing vouchers to their participants at each city's respective farmer's markets.

Officials said the vouchers will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, as quantity is limited.

In Morgantown, vouchers will be available this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The farmers market is held at the Morgantown Marketplace Pavilion, on the corner of Spruce and Fayette Streets.

In Fairmont, WIC will be handing out vouchers on Tuesday, July 29, beginning at 3:30 p.m. The farmer's market is held in the Veteran's Square parking lot on Adams Street, across from the Fairmont Post Office. It takes place on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon.

You must bring your e-WIC ID card to be eligible.

For more information, call the Fairmont WIC office at (304) 366-2387 or the Morgantown WIC office at (304) 598-5181.
