NFL camps are on the brink of opening across the country, and college teams are itching to get back to the gridiron.
In this 12 Sports Coach's Minute, George Shehl discusses 'separation anxiety,' the pressure he feels as he waits for his team to return to Buckhannon.
"You try not to think about it because it'll keep you up at night," said Shehl. "They're not here, and you don't know if they're working, but I trust the players on this team and believe they are working."
West Virginia Wesleyan finished the year winning 4 of it's last 5 games after starting the season 1-4. Starting quarterback Jeremy Mussleman also led the Mountain East Conference with 309.0 yards/game with a conference best 136.1 passer efficiency rating.
Shehl's squad featured more than 30 true-freshman last year. The Bobcats open camp in mid August.
