Bike4Alz Spaghetti Dinner in Buckhannon on July 12th, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Buckhannon.
On Saturday, July 12th, the Buckhannon First Presbyterian Church located at 13 S. Locust Street near downtown Buckhannon, has the honor of hosting Bike4Alz, a group of 12 college aged bicyclists/philanthropists from Kentucky traveling through the town and staying over for the evening on the 50th of their 56 day journey from California to Washington, D.C. to fund-raise for Brightfocus Foundation and Alzheimer’s research. We invite area community members to come and share an evening of conversation and celebration with these adventurers beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the church fellowship hall for a spaghetti dinner complete with the fixings of bread, “community” garden salad, watermelon, and homemade brownies. $10 will get you in the door to share a meal and participate in conversations about the biking trip. To go meals will also be available during the evening. For more information about Bike4Alz, including the 2014 riders, route, and schedule, follow this link: http://www.bike4alz.org/
