A Marion County man is back behind bars after an anonymous tip led to a meth bust in Fairmont.

Deputies arrested Timothy Sheppard, 38, and charged him with operating a clandestine drug lab.  Sheppard initially denied making the meth, saying he hadn't cooked since the last time he was arrested, he later confessed to making meth twice a week once deputies searched his apartment and found ingredients.

Sheppard also faces a charge of possession of a firearm. He's in the North Central Regional Jail.

Sheppard has been previously arrested on meth charges twice before, once in October 2013 and another just two months ago.

He was also arrested in 2012 after deputies said Sheppard struck his 17-year-old son in the face and slammed him to the ground.
