The Harrison County Sheriff's Department held its 12th annual Safety Fair on Saturday.
Kids and families came out for fun activities including inflatables, a car show, a presentation from the West Virginia Raptor Rehabilitation Center, and more.
In addition to the fun activities the kids got to learn more about safety.
There was FBI fingerprinting, bicycle and ATV safety information, and they got to meet emergency services personnel one-on-one.
“Kids really need to learn that you can trust police officers, that we're here to help, that fire fighters are here to help, and if you need something that's what we're here for. Come to us and we'll take care of you,” explained Chief Jeffrey McAtee, with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.
Chief McAtee said the safety fair has grown every year since it started 12 years ago, and this was the largest car show yet.
