One man was taken to the hospital after a vehicle accident in Elkins Thursday afternoon.
Randolph County 911 said it happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of 3rd Street and Kerens Avenue. The collision involved a vehicle and a bicyclist, 911 officials confirmed.
The Elkins Police Department Police Chief Steve Richards said the bicyclist was taken to the Davis Medical Center. He was identified as Michael Lahman, 37, of Elkins. Lahman received a broken leg in the crash and was cited for being at fault. Chief Richards said the driver of the vehicle was not cited.
Randolph County EMS and the Elkins Fire Department also responded to the scene.
