The Mountaineer Boys and Girls Club hosted it's inaugural spring festival Saturday.
The club hosted the Arts and Music Festival at Woodburn Park near it's new location at the former Woodburn Elementary School.
Local bands and a few vendors showed up to help raise money for the club and it's programs.
"It's important for them to remember us for being the first line of defense to helping their children develop into successful adults here at the Boys and Girls Club," said Abigail Arnold, the Community Outreach Coordinator at the club. "And that is what we are promoting here today. All proceeds benefit us."
The Mountaineer Boys and Girls Club partnered with the Woodburn Neighborhood Association and Arts Monongahela to host the event.
West Virginia University Pharmacy School and the Monongalia Arts Center were also at the festival doing demonstrations.
