2 Fairmont Men Arrested for FSU Vehicle Burglaries

Fairmont Police have arrested two men  in connection to a car burglary spree that happened at  4 a.m. Friday in Fairmont.

Police said burglaries happened on Locust Avenue in the Bryant Street Parking Lot at Fairmont State University.

Police arrested John W. Collins, 22, of Fairmont, at the scene. Collins is accusing of stealing items from the vehicles.

A short time later, Tylor J. Donley, 18, also from Fairmont, was arrested at a residence near the campus by officers from the Fairmont Police Department. Police also recovered items stolen in the burglaries from Donley.

Both Collins and Donley are in North Central Regional Jail awaiting preliminary hearings. Bail is set at $45,000 each.

Fairmont State University Police and the Marion County Sheriff's Department assisted.
