If you are getting ready to travel this Easter weekend, the good news is the traffic is not expected to be bad.
AAA predicts that traffic will not be much different than last year and that this weekend the weather looks favorable. Although Easter still has more traffic than a normal weekend, it is not considered a major travel holiday in most of the country.
"Easter, because so many people still have to work Good Friday or work the following Monday, there aren't as many folks who have a long weekend like you have with Thanksgiving or Christmas," said AAA West Virginia Region President Wayne Northey.
Most traffic will most likely occur on Friday afternoon and late Sunday evening, so plan your travel arrangements accordingly.
