Anthony Bonamico -- West Virginia Wesleyan College (Football)
A.C. Caldera -- West Virginia Wesleyan College (Football)
Anthony's teammate, A.C. Caldera, also signed his National Letter of Intent on Thursday. Caldera will join Bonamico at West Virginia Wesleyan College.
Caldera ignited the new pistol offense at Bridgeport, leading the Indians to the Class AA State Championship. He was also named as a First Team All-State selection.
He said he will play wherever they need him at Wesleyan.
"It was just a good fit. When I visited there, I liked the campus. I like what Coach Shehl is doing there. I'm just excited to play, either defense or offense. Wherever they want me to play, I'll play," Caldera said.
Joey Reese -- Seton Hill University (Men's Soccer)
Bridgeport senior midfielder Joey Reese signed his National Letter of Intent to play men's soccer at Seton Hill University.
Reese was a First Team All-State selection for the Indians last season.
He said he is more than ready for the next level.
"I don't think I'm bad at any position either. I mean, I've played all of them while growing up. I watch professionally whenever I can. I just think they're getting a smart soccer player," Reese stated.
Alexis Lindsay -- Fairmont State University (Women's Soccer)
Bridgeport's Alexis Lindsay also signed along the dotted line on Thursday.
Lindsay chose to play women's soccer for Pat McGinnis at Fairmont State University.
The Falcons introduced a brand new women's soccer program during the offseason. McGinnis left Alderson Broaddus University to pursue the head coaching job in Fairmont.
Lindsay said McGinnis sold her on the new program.
"He actually told me how he'd be starting from the bottom. He told me all the good things about it. He didn't tell me any con's, but I'm not really worried about it because Pat is a great coach," Lindsay said.
