Staff at Davis and Elkins College want to help their students and their community find jobs with West Virginia.
D&E hosted a public information session Thursday night for job hunters to find work with the state.
The West Virginia Division of Personnel offered tips to fill out the application online.
Organizers said there's always opportunities to find work for the state.
"A lot of the jobs with West Virginia do not require a degree. There's a lot that you can have with just a high school degree, and so there's a lot of people in the community here that are qualifies for some of these jobs," said Lisa Reed, director of Career Services and Student Employment.
D&E will also hold a public job fair Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the McDonnell Center Gym.
