Trial for Marion County Woman Accused of Murder Set for June
A Marion County woman accused of first degree murder has waived her right to go to trial in the February term of court.
Kristyn Palmer is accused of the 2011 first degree murder of her father, Everett "Ed" Wilson. She is also charged with 20 felony counts of forgery and uttering after writing and cashing checks from her deceased father's bank account. The 10 checks Palmer forged were worth $4,650.
Judge Michael Aloi granted a motion Tuesday morning to move Palmer's trial to the June term of court. Palmer told Judge Aloi her decision to waive her right to trial in the February term of court was her decision.
