Clarksburg Police and the Harrison County Sheriff's Department responded to a shots fired call Friday night.
It happened before 11:30 p.m., at the Oakmound Apartments.
Police said Kevin Miske of Clarksburg is charged with wanton endangerment of a firearm.
Police believe Miske fired a handgun into the ground and air, because police said he got angry over a dispute between him another person.
No one was hurt.
Police said an undetermined amount of rounds were fired.
They did find two spent shell casings.
Miske is currently out on bond.

When Clarksburg Police and Harrison County Sheriff's Department arrived they detained one white man, who they currently have in custody.
Clarksburg Police said the man is believed to have fired a handgun into the ground and air. No one was hurt.
Clarksburg Police Department is investigating.
