A $2 million-winning Powerball ticket has been sold in Tyler County.
The winner did not match all the numbers, but in Saturday's drawing, the lucky winner did have five numbers match, with the only number not matching being the Powerball number. The odds of this happening are just one in over five million.
The ticket was bought at the Par Mar Store in Middlebourne, West Virginia, and the winner selected the Power Play, which doubles the winning amount.
Meanwhile, in February of this year, a customer who purchased a Powerball ticket at the Firehouse Marathon and Drive-Thru on Wheeling Island is about to become $1 million richer.
The manager was informed by the lottery commission that they sold a winning $1 million Powerball ticket. The winner has not come in to claim it yet, and they may not even realize they've won.
The winner of the $1 million ticket has 180 days to claim the prize. They have not claimed it as of Monday.
