The Fairmont Police Department is investigating after someone fired shots at a bar on Merchant Street on Sunday morning, according to Marion County 911 officials.
The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. at the Fast Lane 2.
At the time of the incident, neighbors said they heard shots and witnessed pandemonium outside as customers rushed outside.
"It scared me to death," said Chrisie Clevenger, who lives above the bar. "I was walking through the hallway to the bathroom because the music had stopped, and I heard things being thrown around, people screaming...it just sounded like a big raucous."
No injuries were reported, according to 911 officials.
"People running outside into the parking lot of Rider's, yelling, getting in their cars, getting out of here as quickly as they could," said Clevenger.
No word if police have made any arrests.
