Chief Raymond Knight of the Boothsville Fire Department said the fire rekindled around 4 a.m. Sunday.
Knight also said the man who was taken to the hospital was treated and released.
The State Fire Marshal is slated to investigate the cause of the fire on Tuesday.
Several fire departments from Harrison, Marion, and Taylor County responded to a fire on Saturday.
Boothsville Volunteer Fire Department Chief Raymond Knight said the fire was fully involved when firefighters arrived on the scene.
Knight said one man was home at the time and was taken to Grafton City Hospital by Taylor County EMS with non life-threatening injuries.
Two animals who lived in the residence are unaccounted for, according to Knight.
The house has been ruled a total loss, and other personal items, such as cars, ATVs, and more, were also destroyed.
A cause hasn't been determined, but the State Fire Marshal has been called in to further investigate.
Fire departments from Bridgeport, Grafton, Flemington, and Shinnston assisted Boothsville and other Marion County apparatus.
