The snow didn't just cause problems for Monongalia County on Sunday, Marion was hit hard as well.
The Marion County Rescue Squad said crews were called to more than 30 accidents on Sunday.
Most of those accidents were only fender-benders, according to officials.
Once it was determined there were no injuries for an accident, dispatch would take crews off of one call and send them to the next one that came in.
With temperatures going back into the negatives Monday night and snow still on the roadways, officials are encouraging residents to stay home where its safe.
"The best advice is to stay off of the road if you can help it. If you cant, then obviously you need to slow down and watch hills and watch for any black ice that may be out there," said Courtney Shaver, Marion County Rescue Squad.
Officials said this is one of the worst winters the state has seen in years and its been keeping first responders extremely busy.
