Thin mints, Samoans and Tag Alongs, oh my. That's right, the Girl Scout cookies have arrived.
Almost 60,000 boxes arrived at the Mylan Park Expo Center for pick up this morning.
Troops picked up the orders and should be delivering within the next two weeks. Each box of cookies sold provides funds for important programs.
"Every box is a dollar that goes towards paying for their programming. The more they sell is the more opportunities that they have. This year we're down in sales substantially. So if people could donate or purchase it would be great. We also have a program that allows people to donate to food banks,"
If you'd like to purchase cookies, they are available until the end of April.
