The Harrison County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a vehicle into a building at approximately 8:30 a.m. Monday.
The owner of the Dola Dairy Mart said the driver of a van hit the store. The driver told the owner that his van's brakes stopped worked as he turned into the parking lot. The impact bowed the concrete wall and shattered glass windows. Contractors are working to repair the damage.
No one was injured during the incident. The store will remain open during the repair.
