A single vehicle accident early Tuesday morning sent one man to the hospital.
The Bridgeport Police said a 45-year-old man from Charleston was traveling South on Interstate 79 when he hit a slushy spot and lost control.
The vehicle then hit a snowbank, went airborne and ran into the 124 exit sign. It then rolled over and finally landed on its top.
The driver was taken to United Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries.
There was also an 18-year-old passenger in the vehicle but he sustained no injuries.
