Authorities responded to a structure fire in Lewis County on Sunday afternoon.
It happened at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Snyder Run Road in Horner.
Assistant Chief Dusty Hall of the Weston Volunteer Fire Department said a man was working out of his garage when it caught fire.
The garage had a lot of paint thinners, which made it hard to get the fire under control. The road conditions also made it hard to get the water, according to Hall.
Hall said the fire did not spread to the house but the garage is a total loss.
No one was injured and cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Weston, Jane Lew, Buckhannon, Jackson's Mill, and Pricetown VFD all assisted at the scene.
