Cold weather also impacted the count in Harrison County, so the group will hold another survey in August.
Some things are needed to help with that count.
"We're just going to need people to look at items people might need when they first start up a house. They are living on the streets so they don't have the things you need everyday in your home. So we're looking at maybe start up kits," explained Rhonda Lindsey, with the Clarksburg-Harrison Regional Housing Authority.
The group also needs financing to pay for move-in costs and landlords who are willing to provide housing.
