A girl in Bridgeport will celebrate her 11th birthday on Monday, but she won't be having a normal party.
Jaiden Harwell decided to do 11 random acts of kindness after seeing a Facebook page her mom Brandee Harwell found called 'Angel Deeds.'
On Wednesday, Harwell did one of those good deeds by donating items to the Harrison County Humane Society.
"I had old blankets that we never used so I thought we could donate them. I'm going to go help serve at the Soup Opera and I donated books to our local library," explained Jaiden Harwell.
Brandee Harwell said she couldn't be prouder of her daughter for being so kind-hearted.
"I think it's a mom's dream to know that your daughter is kind and generous and wants to do nice things for people. It makes me feel good," said Brandee Harwell.
Harwell made entertainment packets for kids in the hospital and left money in a store with a note explaining her good deed.
Harwell isn't done with the giving yet.
She still plans to serve food at the Soup Opera, leave money on vending machines, and she said her final good deed is to inspire others to do the same.
