Randolph County Schools is working on three goals for the new year.
Superintendent Terry George said the school system is focusing on improving student achievement, enhance efficiency across all departments and locations, and enhancing community involvement.
George said the number one focus is on the students.
"We want our schools to be community schools. We want the community to be involved in our schools, you know promote activities at our schools, and to be certain that the Randolph County Schools are just that. We are part of the Randolph County community," George said.
The goals are part of the school system's strategic plan.
It will reevaluate those goals in August.
