The Harrison County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the man who died after being found near a home in Stonewood on Saturday.
It said Timothy Skidmore, 55, died shortly after being found.
The medical examiner's office said it found no evidence of foul play.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating after a man was found unresponsive Saturday morning outside of a home in Stonewood, as temperatures dropped well below freezing.
Deputies said the 55-year-old man from Nutter Fort was found in the backyard of a residence and was taken to the hospital. Deputies said Monday that the man died. Hypothermia is likely a factor in his death. His identity has not been released.
Deputies said there is no evidence of foul play at this time, but it is an ongoing investigation.
