Donations for the Honor Flight out of Clarksburg are continuing to come in.
Thanks to a $10,000 donation from Brickstreet Insurance, the Honor Flight is now halfway to its $50,000 goal.
The group has raised enough money to commit to U.S. Airways, which means war veterans will be able to visit their memorials in Washington D.C. in May.
Brickstreet said it didn't think twice about donating the money to such a good cause.
"When they told me about their honor flight project, it just made sense. Brickstreet is so dedicated to community service, dedicated to the state and even the nation. What better way to do that then by honoring our veterans?," said H. Skip Tarasuk Jr., the Brickstreet Special Projects Advisor.
The flight will leave from North Central West Virginia airport for the first time and will take at least 100 area veterans.
