More than 150 red-clad ladies were at the health science center Wednesday getting ready for Go Red for Women Month.
Go Red for Women Month recognizes women's heart health and is celebrated each February.
The women were a part of a photo shoot that will be used by WVUH on billboards during the hospital's annual campaign.
One participant said it's important for all women to realize they may be at risk.
"It's important because I don't look like the typical heart attack survivor. And so I think it's important for people to realize that even if you don't have the risk factors, you're not a smoker, you have a healthy weight, you're physically active, you can still have a heart attack," said Geri Dino, of WVUH.
The American Heart Association says heart disease is the number one killer of women.
