What started as a traffic stop for speeding ended in an arrest in Logan County, WV.
According to troopers with the Logan detachment of the West Virginia State Police, John Madison II, 39, of Pasadena, Maryland, was arrested at around 5 p.m. Saturday, January 4 in the area of Route 44 in Omar.
Troopers say that when they stopped Madison and ran a check on him, they found that he was wanted on 3 warrants for the charges of attempted murder, and first and second degree assault in a stabbing case out of Baltimore County, Maryland.
He is being held in the Southwestern Regional Jail on the charge of being a fugitive from justice. His bond is set at $100,000.
