The Elkins Chamber of Commerce held its annual Legislative Luncheon Thursday.
The event brought Elkins business people together with state representatives to hear about upcoming legislative issues.
Delegates Denise Campbell and Bill Hartman and Senator Gregory Tucker were on hand to answer questions.
Organizers said the event is important to both groups.
"The legislators can get the mood of how the public feels, and what the Randolph County business community is concerned about and what they think are the big issues, and it's also an educational experience for the individuals that are coming to learn more about how the legislature works," said Jess Arbogast, executive director of the Elkins Randolph County Chamber of Commerce.
The first day of this year's legislative session is January 8.
