This year, Pat Stewart Realtors in Morgantown held a "Holiday Home Showcase" decorating contest for residents to show off their holiday light displays.
In order to judge the entries, it asked for a little help from some familiar faces in Monongalia County.
WBOY's Lauren Talotta joined fellow judges Chief Ed Preston of the Morgantown Police Department, community leader Betty Puskar, and architect Larry Martin to pick the top three entries in the county on Monday night.
Those who entered the contest paid an entry fee that will benefit many people from Meals on Wheels in Morgantown.
"This is my 40th anniversary in real estate. I went to the Meals on Wheels luncheon and found out it was their 40th anniversary. So I thought we ought to do something together. We had some lovely lovely houses, and the judges had a hard time deciding 1, 2, and 3," said realtor Patricia Stewart.
Now those judges did pick their three winners, but residents can still cast their votes for the "People's Choice" award.
More than a dozen of those entries will be eligible for voting Tuesday at noon. You can vote by visiting the Pat Stewart Realtors Facebook page.
All winners will be announced later this week.
