AT&T is asking community members to take a stand against texting and driving with its "It Can Wait" campaign.
More than 1 million people have already taken a pledge that says they will not use their phones while driving.
The pledge can be found on the "It Can Wait" website.
AT&T also has apps available that make it easier to not text while driving.
"There's AT&T DriveMode. What that does is it basically serves as an out-of-office. Should anyone text you or anything while you are driving you won't hear the buzzing or alerts and it will send an automatic response to let them know you are driving," said Dawn Pride, the store manager for the AT&T in Clarksburg.
