The Randolph County Commission has accepted the resignation of the regional director of the North Central Community Corrections Program.
The commission held its regular meeting on Thursday. It held an executive session after the meeting to hear an investigation report about Travis Carter. Commissioners said no action was taken.
Commission President Chris See said it will advertise for the position of a new director. Carter's salary was being paid from the community corrections program budget.
Erin Golden is serving as acting director until a replacement can be found.
Judge Jaymie Wilfong had disclosed she had a relationship with the regional director of the North Central Community Corrections in October.
Wilfong said she made the disclosure of her relationship with Carter to avoid the appearance of impropriety.
Three complaints have been filed against her since she reported the relationship to the Judicial Investigation Commission.
