Ritchie County student-athletes Sydney Snodgrass and Dylan Frye signed their letters of intent to continue playing sports in college on Wednesday evening.
Snodgrass will golf for Division-I UAB, otherwise known as the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Frye will play baseball at Coastal Carolina, which is also a Division-I school.
Many people in North Central West Virginia have grown accustomed to watching Frye on the football field as a wide receiver and cornerback.
Snodgrass has been one of the top golfers in the state of West Virginia throughout her high school career.
Both admit they cannot wait to head down south.
"I started when I was three, so this is my fourteenth year. The last four years, I've really changed the way I practice. I've just worked hard and I've just gotten so much better, and it's just due to the hard work," Ritchie County senior golfer Sydney Snodgrass said.
"They're really proud of my decision. They're really interested in me coming. They're really looking forward to having me on their team. They said I have a chance at becoming a starting position player as a freshman. I've got to get that work done. It's not going to come easy. I've got to get down there and work my butt off, and get out there," Rebels senior Dylan Frye said.
