The man who died in a crash on Interstate 79 on November 13 has been identified as Ryan Gross, 19, according to West Virginia State Police.

Officials said he was a recent graduate of Fairmont Senior High School, and Friday, students wore camouflage clothing in his memory because he was known as an avid outdoorsman.

State police said a truck pulled in front of Gross's car, causing him to rear-end the truck. The car then flipped over and landed in the median.

Gross later died at Ruby Memorial Hospital, state police said.
