We're still a few weeks away from Thanksgiving, but some Marion County residents say it's never too early to start getting ready for Christmas.
On Saturday, area residents flocked to the Trinity Assembly of God in Marion County for its annual Christmas Craft and Vendor Expo.
The event, which was free to the public, helps promote local businesses while funding different projects the church funds throughout the year.
Organizers said it's the perfect time to start shopping for the holidays.
"We have less than, probably, 45 days til Christmas, so there's no better time to go get a few of those gifts done. Most importantly, you're supporting local crafters and local vendors, which is always great," said organizer Charli Utt.
Hundreds of people showed up at the event, which is to benefit the church's women's ministry.
"This was basically a way to promote different women in our church through our ministry to promote their businesses as well. It's kind of grown from there," said Utt.
