Daylight Savings Time is coming this weekend, and while you change your clocks don't forget your smoke detectors, too.
Firefighters recommend changing the batteries in your smoke detectors twice a year, and the time change is an easy reminder.
"You need to change the batteries in your smoke detectors as well as your carbon monoxide detectors. It's a good idea to change your batteries once a year, I recommend you change them twice," said Weston Fire Chief Kenny James.
Chief James also recommends testing your detectors once a month, and replacing them every 10 years.
