The countdown is finally over and it's time for kids to go Trick-or-Treating.
Fairmont Police have a few tips they'd like you to keep in mind to make sure it's a fun and safe night for everyone.
Tips include having kids lift masks and look both ways before crossing a street; make sure they stay in groups; and once the confection collection is over, look over their candy before you let them dig in.
"Make sure we have the proper adult supervision. Send someone out that's a responsible adult to go out with your kids if they are going to be trick or treating. Keep them safe so they have a good time," said Cpl. Don Neal, of the Fairmont Police Department.
Fairmont Police said there will be extra officers patrolling the streets Thursday.
